AS YOU CAN TELL WE ARE WRITING ABOUT MEGA MATHS THAT WE HAD THIS MORNING IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!AS;) #AWESOME :] WE DID TESSALATIONS  AND MAKING 3D SHAPES THERES SO MUCH WE CANT REMEMBER ALL OF THEM !!!!!!

WE GOT TO WEAR OUR BOARDIES TODAY CHILDREN WHO WORE BOARDIES HAD TO PAY A GOLD COIN DONATION FOR THE SURF LIFE SAVING CLUB :] FRIDAY THE 28TH OF MARCH 2014

Hi i am TOM and i like anything thats take out and the person whos also helping me is Caitlynn she likes sport. And were going to tell you about our day. WE did a really fun maths session doing our rotaions this morning. What we have been learning about in maths are shapes.We did really fun activities  including shapes. It had to be a 3D shape, we made 3D shapes from papper, Tesselations, we drawed 3D shapes on dotted graph papper, something like a puzzle and drew things by looking at it and putting it in the correct box.

Yesterday  we did walla rugby. All year 5s really enjoyed it.

There names were Dain and another man.

It was funny.It was so hot but we all still tried our best.

It was good when we played   rugby octopus.                                                                                        


 HARMONY DAY
if  you dont no what harmony day we are here to tell you.
harmony day is about celebrating all the different cultures.
in our class we are doing a big orange poster with the word peace and in the letters we are putting photos of us working and having nice and silly photos we have only done the letters but we will soon be finished.Friday 21  March 2014 everyone wears orange on that day . As you can see the theme is oranange

Narrative writing 

Lewis - "I reckon the monster drawing was just brilliant because I said red eyes in my story and I like the way he hat it like a bunny rabbit with sharp teeth and blood dripping."

Josh - "I like the way Paris multicoloured it. Like she drew colours inside colours and the hands were a gun blowing fire."

Hannah - "I like the way Ngor did my monster. It looked like a cute creature and it as full of all sorts of colour."

Daniel - "Liam illustrated it with pencil first and then colour so it looked real good."

Jake - "I think it was funny. Like my drawing has the hands torn off with heaps of blood. It looks really good."

Ngahuia - "I was reading Ngor's but I didn't understand it. I didn't give up and still gave it a go drawing the monster."

Timod - "I like the way I had little description but Faith still drew it exactly how I had imagined it."

Tom - "I had a bit of description and Boston still drew it fat, fluffy and man-eating."

Hi my name is Josh this week at school Miss Tame has been teaching us narrative writing and all of us have been writing about a monster in the basement and after we had written our stories someone drew a picture of our monster and all of the drawings were fabulous .We are very happy to have Miss Tame as our teacher because she  has been letting us use our imagination in narrative writing we also got to draw our monster and we got to change our stories around  so the  other kids in our class got to draw our charters we had to descibe our charters by writing the detials in our writing task we are very happy to learn about narrative writing we will make the best stories ever. We also got to share some of the stories out they were all fantastic we all have had a great time with the narrative writing tasks it has been so much fun.

I have a lot to news to share so here i go today was our assembly we were all excited to perform. our assembly was about our school saying Live,Laugh & Learn we even turned into a flash mob which was really fun. Me and Rochelle now teach dancing fitness with the juniors and seniors which is really fun to do.Halloween just pasted so we did a tally graph on the flavors  of lollies we chose from.Today at lunch I played Basketball with friends but were having a real game tomorrow which is exciting.I hope your all having an awesome week so far and are looking forward to the Christmas holidays.

Hi my names Connor and i just got in a new soccer team it was hard to make the team but I managed  to do it. And i just had my last soccer game for my other team well for the school. My new soccer team is going up against a howl bunch of really good soccer teams that have been playing for many years.

Thanks for your post all the way from NZ, lovely to hear from you! I am having a great time here in Western Australia. Our School is really interesting because it is a new school. M7 loves sport and fitness a bit like Studio 14, 2012. This week we have athletics carnival. I am in the Bradman house so my colours are green. I hope Bradman takes the win! I have recently introduced M7 to 'capture the flag' and 'long ball.' I hope the rugby season has gone well (the WA kids play lots of Aussie rules - quite different to league and union!) and that Mr George is keeping you all out of trouble! :)

I am working on making a fortnight news report that will happen every 2 weeks this will be a written report on the 2 weeks before, and upcoming events blogged by a student 

There will be a M7 film that we will let you know about as soon as possible as we dont have much info ourselfs 

I am also working on a question of the day (QOTD) this will be a question that a member of M7 writes up on here every day and  the answer will be reveled the next day

This term our goal is to be active bloggers and keep you updated in our school lives

TERM 3 UPDATE

Hi Guys! It's me, ZarLi here! Haven't been on the blog for sooo long. Today is the second day of school and is so tiring. So in Week 6, we have the Faction Carnival and I can't wait. We also have the M7 film and currency. So busy this Term! ZarLi Out!
